Before wearing them for the first time, Goodsole recommend waterproofing your sneakers with a spray suitable for the material and repeating this process periodically.

Canvas models: the canvas can be brushed with cold water and soap of Marseille.
Suede models: to increase the longevity of your shoes and to keep the suede in top form use a waterproof spray before first use and maintain with regular dry brushing and waterproofing.

If you’re unsure or in-between sizes, Goodsole suggest going up to the nearest whole size. 2001 Parallel and Crossroads styles tend to run half a size smaller than all other styles.
